Moonlight Peaks Fishing Guide: All Fish & Locations
Moonlight Peaks has 22 fish species. Many only appear in specific locations, seasons, weather or moon phases — a few are full-moon exclusives. This guide lists every fish we've verified, how to unlock fishing, and how to upgrade your rod.
How to unlock fishing
Second night
Cross the bridge near your home to the beach and meet Noel.
The challenge
He challenges you to catch three different species ('Outfish The Fisherman').
Reward
Complete it to keep the Fishing Rod permanently plus 250 Coins.

Fishing tips
- Fish in every season and weather — some species are time-specific (Goldy: Spring/Summer; Mouthout: rain only).
- Return on Full Moon nights to Luna Bay for Moonflutter.
- Upgrade to the Premium Rod early for the large fish (Furybud, Goliath, Armour).
- Donate one of every species to the Museum Aquarium Collection.
- The Howling Hammer is open Monday–Friday 18:00–00:00.

Which fish needs a full moon?
Moonflutter only appears during a Full Moon at Luna Bay.
Which fish need the Premium rod?
Furybud, Goliath and Armour are large fish that need the Premium Fishing Rod.
What is 'Missing'?
A super-rare fish that can appear at any fishing spot — catching it unlocks the 'Missing? No!' achievement.
