Tools in Moonlight Peaks start at Rusty and upgrade through Copper, Iron and Gold — each tier needs Coins plus bars of the previous metal. All upgrades are bought at Ridge's shop, the Howling Hammer.

Where & how to upgrade
- Talk to Ridge inside his shop (the Howling Hammer) during opening hours — 6pm to midnight, Monday–Friday.
- The Howling Hammer is the first building after the bridge by the canal in central Moonlight Peaks.
- Copper tools unlock after you complete 'A Bridge Too Far' and explore the cave in Misty Shores.
- Mine Copper Ore (Cave of Echoes) and Iron Ore (deeper in the cave), then smelt bars in your furnace.
Upgrade order we recommend
Pickaxe first
Better pickaxes break larger rocks and unlock more ore (and Rose Quartz for Mana).
Watering can / axe next
More crops per day and faster wood for kegs, barns and upgrades.
Scythe & shovel
The scythe stops at Iron tier; the shovel helps clear land.
Fishing rod
The Premium Rod (16,000 + 3 Gold Bars) catches the large fish for the museum and big money.
